We are excited to be your new pharmacy! By now you likely have had an appointment with one of our ExactCare representatives to review your health, medication, and prescriber information.

Here’s what to expect next.

We request prescriptions from your doctors. We will call you if we need your help.

We line up your prescription refill dates. This may take some time.

We will call you to update you on your medications and will let you know if we need anything from you.

Please be sure to return any calls from ExactCare as soon as possible.

Concerned about running out of a medication?

If you are a new ExactCare patient and concerned about running out of a medication, call us immediately.

Please do not fill the prescription at another pharmacy without talking to us first. Doing this could delay your first ExactPack delivery.

Things to Know About Your Medication Delivery

Summary Sheet and Start Dates

Your delivery will include a summary sheet with a list of the medication we have sent you. Pay attention to the dates in the upper right corner. This tells you when to start your ExactPack.

Following your start date will help ensure you don’t run out of medication or end up with more than you need.  

Delivery Tracking

You can track your medication shipments using ExactCare’s online patient portal, called MyECP. The MyECP app lets you access your account and medication information, get delivery alerts and more from any mobile device or computer.

Medication Bottles

You may receive some of your medication in bottles at first. Some of them may have less than a 30-day supply. This is a normal part of the process as we work to align your refills. Click here to learn more about why we align your refills and how long it might take.

Paying for Your Medication

ExactCare will send you a monthly bill for your medication. This may be a change for you if you are used to picking up your medication at different times during the month.

Your bill will include:

  • Copayments for your prescription medication, if you have them
  • The cost of non-prescription medication not covered by your insurance

Below are some of the most frequently asked questions we hear from new patients.

When will I receive my first medication delivery?

After you speak with an ExactCare representative about what medications you are taking, our pharmacy team reaches out to your doctors for your prescriptions. When you receive your first ExactCare delivery depends on a number of things, including: 

  • When each of your prescriptions was last filled
  • Whether your prescriptions were filled at the same time or on different days
  • How quickly we can get your prescriptions from your doctors

If you are concerned about running out of medications as you are getting started, please call us immediately!

Why are some of my medications in bottles at first?

As you are getting started, you may receive a delivery that contains less than a 30-day supply of pills in a bottle. This is because we are working to align all of your prescriptions so they fill at the same time.

This process is important! It allows us to send all your medications together at once every month. To help this process go smoothly, please return any calls you receive from ExactCare right away.

How can I track my medication delivery?

There are several ways you can stay up to date on the status of your medication delivery.

  1. Use the calendar feature in MyECP
  2. Set up email or text notifications in MyECP
  3. Call us to sign up for text notifications sent to your phone

When will I receive my first ExactPack?

This depends on a few different things, including when you last filled each of your prescriptions and how quickly we receive your prescriptions from your doctors. Our pharmacy team will call you as you are getting started to review your upcoming deliveries. Please be sure to answer our calls or return our calls as soon as possible!
