FEATURED QUESTION

What is multidose packaging, and how can it help me?

It can feel difficult to keep track of several medications each day. Many people worry about forgetting a dose or taking the wrong medication. Multidose packaging can help make taking your medication easier and less stressful.

What is multidose packaging?

Multidose packaging means your medications are sorted for you. They are packaged by the day and time you need to take them.

Taking your medication the right way is very important for your health. Multidose packaging helps you remember if you have taken your medication or not.

How is multidose packaging different from pill bottles?

Most pharmacies give you medications in separate pill bottles. This means you need to remember:

  • What medication to take.
  • How much of your medication to take.
  • What time to take your medication.
  • Where you last placed your bottles of medication.

Some people will move their pills into a weekly or monthly pill box to stay organized. This can still be confusing and take time to sort.

Multidose packaging removes these extra steps. Your medications are already sorted and ready to take. This makes your routine simpler and safer.

How can multidose packaging help me?

Multidose packaging can be a great option for anyone who takes multiple medications. It can be extra helpful if you:

  • Take multiple medications at different times of the day.
  • Have a hard time remembering if you took your medication.
  • Manage a chronic condition like diabetes, heart disease, or high blood pressure.
  • Feel overwhelmed from managing your medication routine.

Many people find that multidose packaging makes medication management easier. In a recent survey, 94% of patients agreed that ExactCare makes it easier to take their medications.

How does ExactCare package medication?

ExactCare’s medication packaging makes it simpler to understand what you are taking and when. Your medications come pre-sorted in labeled medication packets.

Each packet includes:

  • The day and time you need to take the packet.
  • The name, strength, and dose of each medication.
  • A description of each medication (like color or shape). This helps you know which pill is what.
  • How many pills are inside.

The medication packets come inside a box called the ExactPack. You simply tear off the packet you need when it is time to take your medications.

This is an example of the medication packets and the ExactPack.

The ExactPack can also help family members or caregivers who support you with your medications to know exactly what you need to take and when.
