Is ExactCare Pharmacy Legitimate?

You Can Trust ExactCare

With the increase in medication scams in recent years, it’s normal to worry about whether a pharmacy is legitimate. It’s important to do your research and find a pharmacy you can trust.

We created this page to give you peace of mind that ExactCare is a legitimate pharmacy. We explain who we are, how we are different and what our patients think about us. We also wrote an article with tips on how to choose a credible pharmacy. You can read it here.

ExactCare is Different From a Traditional Pharmacy

At ExactCare, we do things a little bit differently because we specialize in helping people with complex medication needs. We serve patients wherever they need our support—in assisted living and long-term care facilities, through transitions of care, and in the comfort of their own homes.

ExactCare acts as a key member of our patients’ healthcare teams. Some of the services we provide include medication synchronization, monthly clinical reviews, and prescriber consultations. The more complex a patient’s needs, the more complex the level of pharmacy care.

Even though we may do things a little differently, ExactCare is a legitimate pharmacy! Keep in mind, we are licensed with the Boards of Pharmacy in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. You can trust ExactCare.

A typical ExactCare patient:

  • Takes multiple prescription medications
  • Has multiple chronic conditions
  • Needs assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Has had recent SNF stays, hospitalizations or ER visits
  • Needs care management
  • Has multiple prescribers
  • Is experiencing polypharmacy
  • Utilizes home health services

ExactCare Patient Satisfaction

We want our patients to feel confident they can trust ExactCare and be happy about their experience with us. To get feedback on how we are doing, we send patient surveys every year to measure overall satisfaction. Every year, our patients have given us a “World Class” Net Promoter Score. The majority of our patients report that ExactCare helps them better manage their health.

“They keep in contact with my doctor’s office when needed. They answer my medication questions and concerns and tell me about any interactions. They look out for my needs, are easy to contact, and are always there. Thank you!”

ExactCare Patient

“It used to take me hours to organize my medications each month, and I still didn’t always do it correctly. Now, my meds are accurate and arrive on time. With ExactCare, I have one less thing to worry about.”

“The pharmacist’s suggestions for my doctor were timely. They caught interaction concerns and told my doctor and me. These suggestions spared me harm.”

Addressing Negative Feedback

Like every business, sometimes we get negative feedback. Often, this is due to confusion about medication synchronization. Med sync is when we line up prescription refill dates so we can package medications by day and time. This process can be complex, but we work to educate patients on what to expect.

We strongly encourage patients to contact us directly to discuss any concerns they may have. Patients who feel their issue isn’t being resolved can ask to speak to a supervisor or pharmacist.

We want patients to feel confident they can trust ExactCare and that ExactCare is a legitimate pharmacy.

Online Reviews & Healthcare Privacy

Sometimes we get feedback in the form of a negative online review. We actively monitor these reviews and follow up with the patient if we are able to identify who they are. This isn’t always possible, which is why we ask that patients call us directly.

If you read online pharmacy reviews as part of your research, keep in mind that healthcare providers are limited in how they can respond. Healthcare privacy laws, like HIPAA, make it difficult to specifically address the patient’s experience, dispute false claims or address factual inaccuracies.
